Regiment Members

A total number of 1,935 men were members of the 2/3rd Australian Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment. This figure includes the original enrolment, subsequent reinforcements, Signals Section and the Workshops Section.

Details of the original Officer staffing are provided under “Officers” and more detailed information of senior officers is provided under “Officer Profiles”.

The Association is in the process of collating the full Service Records of the Regiment’s officers, which will be placed on our web site in the near future.

To access basic details of family members, log onto the World War Two Nominal Roll (See “Web Links”) and enter either the Name or the Service Number of the person for whom you are seeking details.

Information available for each person on the Nominal Roll includes Name, Service, Service Number, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, Date of Enlistment, Locality on Enlistment, Place of Enlistment, Next of Kin, Date of Discharge, Rank, Posting at Discharge, Honours and Gallantry and whether they were a Prisoner of War.

Once the Service Record is displayed, the viewer may then choose to:

a. download a certificate of the Service Record (no charge) and/or

b. request a full Service Record (a fee of approximately $35* applies for each full Service Record).

* Fees applicable as at 14 April 2022
