Workshop Section
Workshop Section members were recruited from new enlistees at the Sydney Showgrounds in the months of June and July 1940. They were allocated to 1 Anti-Aircraft (AA) Brigade Workshop, and in November its Light Anti-Aircraft (LAA) Section was raised at Royal Park (Victoria). They joined the 2/3 LAA Regiment (Regt) at Werribee and embarked with the unit, for the Middle East, in December 1941, as an attached section.
