For the third time in the fifteen years since the descendants of former Service members assumed responsibility for the management of the 2 /3rd Australian Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment Association, we have a new President.

David McDonald, son of RW (Bob) McDonald (Signals) was elected President of the Association at the Annual General Meeting held on 22 April 2023. David assumes the role following the resignation of Anne Rae (daughter of CJE Rae (9th), who served as the Association President for nine years from from 2014 and Lynton Rose (son of Clive Rose (RHQ), who served as President from 2008 to 2014.

Malcolm Wrigglesworth, son of WA (Bill) Wrigglesworth, elected as the Association Secretary in 2014, retains his role.

Similarly, Ian Campbell, elected as Treasurer of the Association at the 2022 AGM, retains the Treasurer’s role.

David McDonald also retains his role as the Association’s Research Officer, and former Secretary and Treasurer Colin Bragg continues to be responsible for the production of the Association’s annual newsletter “Take Post”.
